Now it just went back at getting stuck or very slow and whatever I try nothing fix the issues. I viewed tons of tutorials and videos and tried lots and lots of different thing and options, sometimes it just work for couple of weeks at random thing then the issue arise once more (one time I just logged on safe mode restarted and boom it worked again, other try I took the caddy drive out and put it back and it worked, other try I choose legacy boot then back to UEFI anf it worked) just random start.

Recently I got issues that Windows get stuck at startup screen (where circles rolling around), sometimes it starts after loooong time but it is very slow and unusable and if I tried to shutdown it never shuts down, sometimes I got BSOD. I placed the SSD in place of the HDD and the HDD installed instead of DVD player via a drive caddy. I cloned the HDD to the SSD using Acronis software offered by Crucial to make sure I get Windows stay licensed and activated and to avoid reinstalling the programs I use and the adjustment needed.Īll went good but after sometime of usage windows was getting slower and laggy so I did a Windows refresh, installed all programs again - it was a lot of hassle but it was good for sometime. Last June I went for a Crucial BX500 SSD to speed up my Laptop.

Newer version means better performance, right? So I thought may be it will fix my issues.

May I ask why you want to update bios? Are you having problems that a bios update will fix?Well it's along story, recently having some issues and frustration with my laptop when checking for drivers updates I found BIOS update.
